Birthday Party FAQs
Q: Does the 20 guests in the package mean only children or both kids and adults?
A. The 20 does include both children and adults. Please contact the Sales Coordinator for the additional cost of children and adults over 20 headcount.
Q: When does the balance and final headcount need to be paid?
A: The final balance and headcount (both children and adults) needs to be paid no later than one week prior to the party.
Q: What if I have last minute guests that RSVP, can I pay for them at the door?
A. Yes, you would pay for them at the door.
Q. Is there a host in the room?
A. You will have a Chabot staff member that will assist you throughout your time at the Center. However, we do not provide a full time staff member in the room with you.
Q. Are parents of the birthday child included in the guests count?
A. Yes, unless you are a member.
Q. Do you have a fridge to store a cake?
A. We do not have fridge space for your food but can supply a storage area and cart to store your items until needed. You can bring in an ice chest to keep food cold.
Q. Does Chabot supply gift bags?
A. Gift Bag options are available at the Starry Nights Gift Shop. You can purchase $4 bags or $7 bags (both priced at 30% off from retail) - or come on in and create your own!

Q. Do all the activities and shows need to be done within the 1 hour table time?
A. No, the 1 hour is just your reserved table time for the party portion of your event. Your guests can enjoy the center for the entire day if they like. They can also purchase additional movie tickets for that day at the group rate price.
Q. What supplies do I need to bring - table cloths, decorations, etc?
A. The tables in the tent and room are between 54" and 60" rounds. You will need to bring the following items: paper plates, cups and napkins, plastic silverware, decorations (no confetti or balloons), birthday cake, candles and a lighter.
