Chabot Space & Science Center partners with companies of all sizes to build relationships that enhance their presence and enable them to take advantage of Chabot’s resources for employee enrichment and client entertainment.

The essential funding provided by Corporate Galaxy members enables Chabot to provide educational opportunities to a diverse audience of 150,000 visitors per year and countless more through outreach and online initiatives.

In appreciation of their annual support, Corporate Galaxy members receive benefits at various levels and are acknowledged on the Donor Wall prominently displayed in Chabot’s main public gathering area and the website. Corporate sponsorship opportunities are also available.

Chabot welcomes employees of Corporate Partners with the following:

• Free unlimited admission for all employees of Corporate Galaxy members at the $10,000 level and above
• Employee guest passes for Corporate Partners at the $1,000 - 9,999 levels
• 20% discount on new individual memberships for all Corporate Partner employees

As a Chabot sponsor, your company will be identified with and provide support for the Center’s most highly visible educational opportunities, including exhibits and planetarium shows.

Chabot offers a range of sponsorship opportunities that enable you to reach a targeted audience. Sponsorship benefits include:

Visibility in advertisements, printed materials, and press efforts
Marketing and opportunity to leverage sponsorship through customized promotions for exhibition audiences and your clients, customers, and employees
Hospitality for clients and employees at Chabot’s spectacular facility
Membership in Chabot’s Corporate Galaxy Program, providing free employee admission, invitations to special events, corporate discounts, and more.

Chabot Facts and Audience

Over 150,000 visitors per year learn from educational experiences, including interactive exhibits, research-quality telescopes, and immersive presentations in the state-of-the-art planetarium and dome screen theater.

Over 50,000 school children per year are served by innovative and effective on-site and outreach K-12 programs. For these programs, the Center has established a primary partnership with the Oakland Unified School District. Among the student population, 94% are ethnic minority; 68% qualify for a free school lunch and 35% qualify as English Language Learners.

Up to 2,000 K-12 teachers per year are served by professional development programs. This in turn benefits more than 60,000 Bay Area students each year.

Outreach programs include Techbridge, an after school program to encourage low-income girls in science and technology, and the Galaxy Explorers program targeted to disadvantaged youth and enabling them to become science interpreters at Chabot and out in the community
