Whether you are planning an adventure for the entire family or a date night for two, Chabot Space & Science Center is the ideal place to stretch your boundaries and expand your universe!
General Admission to the Center includes access to our hands-on interactive exhibitions, one full-dome digital Planetarium show, and one MegaDome Theater show. Admission also includes access to our historic Observatory for telescope viewing day and night (weather permitting, of course).

The average visitor spends approximately 3-5 hours at the Center. Planetarium and Megadome show selections are made when purchasing general admission tickets. Buy tickets in advance to guarantee a seat in the planetarium and theater shows of your choice. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance for weekends, holidays, and special events such as 10000: A Skyline Party and Dinner, A Movie, and the Universe.
General Admission and 10000: A Skyline Party tickets can be purchased online and can be picked up from Will Call at the Front Desk. Some of our most popular General Admission, Planetarium, and Megadome Theater ticket combinations are available online. Disabled Access
The Center provides a wide variety of accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
- Accessible parking is located near the main entrance across from the parking structure. Additional parking is located in the Staff Parking Lot below the observatory complex.
- Wheelchairs are available at the Front Desk on a first come, first served basis. Please call ahead to reserve one.
- Assistive listening devices for the planetarium and theater are available at the Visitor Services Desk. If you like, call ahead to reserve one.
- Wheelchair seating is available in the theater and planetarium on a first come, first served basis.
- With the aid of special eyepiece, Nellie, our 36" reflector telescope, is wheelchair accessible. Please call ahead to make arrangements.
- Service animals are permitted in the Center.

Dining & Shopping
Chabot offers dining at its Celestial Cafe and shopping in its Starry Nights Gift Shop, both are located on the main floor of the Spees Building. Hours follow the Center's regular hours.
Dinner, A Movie and the Universe
Chabot offers a special dining experience on Friday and Saturday evenings: Dinner, A Movie and the Universe. Enjoy a bistro-style dinner as part of a unique after dark experience at the Center. There are two seatings: 6pm and 8pm. We recommend calling at least a week ahead for reservations and menu options.
