K-12 Field Trips: Take a look at our exciting options!

We have many exciting field trip options here at Chabot Space & Science Center. There are perfect field trips for every grade! All school visitors get the chance to explore our exciting exhibitions. In addition, we have everything from hands-on, standards-based classes to exciting state-of-the-art digital full-dome Planetarium and Megadome shows, to simulated space missions in our Challenger Learning Center® and tours of our historic giant telescopes.

Welcome to the 2013-14 school year at Chabot Space & Science Center! Our school field trip program resumes on Wednesday, September 11th and we're offering you a Special September Discount. This year, if you and your students come to Chabot for a field trip during the month of September, you will receive 50% off of your package! Applicable packages include:

Simulated Mars Mission in the Challenger Learning Center®
90-minute Science Class by a Chabot Science Instructor
Docent-led Hike in the Redwood forest
Planetarium and Theater Shows
Exhibit Exploration
Telescope Tours

Confirmations and detailed schedules are sent via email. Payment is not collected online. You will be emailed an invoice. Payment is due on or before the day of your field trip.

Can't bring your class to Chabot? Have us come to you with Chabot-to-Go!

Our traveling science fair is available to come to your school on evenings and weekends. Chabot-to-Go features at least four tables of hands-on space and science activities for all ages. Perfect for a PTA function, family science night or other special event.
