Scouts
Chabot offers a fun and engaging scout program that allows boys and girls in Scout troops to earn their badges in Astronomy and Space. Our scout programs are offered on Saturdays and you may choose from either a Day Workshop or an Overnight Odyssey. Both packages include a scavenger hunt, digital full-dome planetarium show, custom workshop and a tour of the universe through our state of the art telescopes, weather permitting, of course.
Our Scout program will take your group from Earth into the great unknown through workshops, telescope viewing, planetarium shows, or an overnight program. This is an adventure your group won't soon forget.
Chabot offers programs for the following Badges:
- Cub Scouts - Astronomy Academics Pin or Astronomy Belt Loop
- Boy Scouts - Astronomy Merit Badge
- Brownies - Space Explorer Try-It
- Jr. Girl Scouts - Sky Search Badge
Make your reservations today
- Select your Package
- Select two dates, a first choice and an alternative date in case that one is full
- Tell us what type of group; Brownies, Cubs, Boy or Jr. Girl Scouts and what badge they are hoping to obtain
- Call or email our Sales Coordinator with the number of kids and adults in your group
