Start your night off with dinner and drinks, then cozy up in the planetarium as you're whisked to the edge of the universe and cap off the evening with telescope viewing featuring breathtaking views of the cosmos. |  | Two Small Pieces of Glass New Planetarium Now Showing!
From Galileo to the Hubble, this 23 minute full dome digital show traces the history, wonder and discovery of the telescope over the last 400 years. USS Hornet Museum
Splashdown 2009 July 24 - 26
The USS Hornet Museum in Alameda will be
hosting their Splashdown 2009 event to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Apollo
11 reaching the moon. One of the Apollo 11 astronauts, Buzz Aldrin, will be the
featured guest and will be present to sign his new book, Magnificent
Desolation. Tickets can be purchased before July 17th for $20 or $25
afterwards.
