Telescope Viewing

There will be no
telescope viewing on Friday, July 4 in observance of Independence
Day.

Sat. July 12: Astronomy Hall
will be closed from 2pm-10pm, for a private event. The
Observatory Complex & Telescopes will be closed from
2pm-8pm for a private
event. Remainder of Center to remain open. Observatory Complex &
Telescopes will reopen at 8pm for public viewing, enter
through Observatory Deck entrance.

Sat. July 26: 1st
Floor Spees, Planetarium and Megadome will close at 3pm for a private
event. Remainder of Center to remain open. Enter Center through the
Observatory Deck entrance.

Access for Visitors with Disabilities:
Chabot Space & Science Center is wheelchair accessible. A limited number of
wheelchairs are available on site. Designated parking spaces are
located near the main entrance to the facility.
Chabot is a participating member of the ASTC Passport Program, a
reciprocal admission program with over 200 science centers and museums around
