Every First Friday: 6-10pm
At $5 First Fridays you can join a Night Hike through the redwoods or enjoy various laser and planetarium shows. Admission also includes hands-on activities and live demonstrations throughout the center, as well as any special events that are going on that evening. It's fun for the whole family!
FREE Drop-In program. Tickets are limited, available at the Box Office.
Open LEGO Laboratories every Sunday with an engineering challenge focus. Builders of all ages and skills are welcome. Active parent participation is required for youth under 10 years.

Each Sunday preceding the 1st quarter moon, the Eastbay Astronomical Society invites you to a special private telescope viewing. Unlike our regular viewing on Friday and Saturday evenings, EAS personalizes the experience by taking viewing requests, live interaction, and hosting tours and it's exclusively for our members!

Member Movie Nights - Exclusive Member-Only Events!
Come join us for a feature film screening in our fabulous MegaDome Theater. These events are held on Sunday evenings, after regular closing hours of our museum. We will also be hosting a telescope viewing immediately following the movie screening.
RSVP's for these events are required at least 2 days prior to the event, please respond via the links provided. These are free events for our Chabot Members, however, we do ask that you be considerate and change your RSVP if your plans change, so we don't turn other members away in the event that you cannot attend.
No outside food or drinks will be permitted in the theater, in order to retain the state of the venue.

You have been chosen for a space mission! Before liftoff, you are required to go through training. As an astronaut in training during this station based lab, you will put your skills to the test through a variety of exercises, test your fine motor skills while wearing a simulated spacesuit, collect your own physiological data and create your own mission patch!
