Attention NEST Teachers
Join us for “Endings and Beginnings”
What are some great science activities
that you use at the end of the year? What are some ways that
you begin preparing for the beginning of the year? During
this session, we'll share ideas for year-enders (open house,
springtime science, post STAR testing, etc.) and year-openers
(what are some things that we can get ready now so we're ready
to go when school begins again). With
these thoughts in mind, we’d like to invite all of you to
bring an activity to share with a focus on one of the
following ideas:
1. An
activity that would be great for the closing weeks of school.
2. An
activity that would be great to begin the new school year in
September.
Let’s end and start the school year at
the top of our game. Many of you have great ideas and are
probably already planning activities for the end of the year.
It’ll be great to celebrate another successful school year by
bringing your best ideas to the group, providing your peers
with a morning of classroom-tested activities. We hope you
will join us in this celebration.
