About The Moon

The Moon has shone over the landscapes of the Earth for billions of years, a common sight to the earliest humans and to modern humans alike. The Moon's image that flashed in the eyes of the dinosaurs is no different from the image we see today. The earliest creatures that possessed the optical power to perceive the Moon saw the same magnificent orb that today arches over the landscape of our modern civilization.

The Moon

Observe the Moon for yourself. With a small telescope or even a pair of binoculars there is much for the eyes and the mind to explore on the Moon: vast seas of cooled, solidified lava, wide expanses of rugged highland terrain, and an overall blanketing of impact craters.
