Tales of the Maya Skies, produced by Chabot Space & Science Center, is an immersive digital full-dome Planetarium experience. Audiences are taken on a voyage into the Yucatan jungle to engage in the culture of the Maya people, their art, astronomy and creation story. Narrated by Latin Grammy Award winner Lila Downs, the show inspires and awes through stunning visuals and a custom score.

Special Events
As we march toward the countdown of the end of the Maya Calendar, we will be holding many special events throughout the year in honor of this occasion. Please keep checking back for updates.
- Starting in July, please join us on the fourth Saturday of each month from 12pm - 5pm. Our Galaxy Explorers will lead hands-on demos relating to Maya culture. Engage in fun math activities, crafts, and demonstrations.

In honoring the Maya culture, we have created a Yucatec Mayan language version of the show that is available along with the Spanish and English versions.
