Connect with Chabot: Partnering for Our Future

Learn more about Chabot's new year-long Education Suite at our first annual professional development day. The event will immediately follow the Alameda County Office of Education's Inventing Our Future - The Integrated Learning Summer Institute being held at Chabot from Aug 12-14, 2014. Chabot's professional development day will showcase our unique pedagogy and resources at Chabot that are available for teachers all year round. See how to integrate NGSS-aligned engineering content into your classroom, what classes and exhibits can enhance your students' learning experience, and how Chabot can be brought to your classroom and school! Teachers can select from 3 mini-workshops led by our trained education staff members that will also include exhibit tours, curriculum giveaways, and a preview of our live science show.

  • August 15 (8:40am - 2pm)
  • Registration fee is $50* (includes a light breakfast and lunch)
*Registration fee will be reimbursed if a teacher reserves a year-long bundle package
